Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of MCPWing and the MCPWing (Wing) connector.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using MCPWing (the "Service"), including the MCPWing (Wing) connector for Claude, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
MCPWing is a multi-tenant platform for building and operating MCP servers, managing projects, designs, tickets, and MCP deployments, and connecting these capabilities to AI assistants such as Claude. The Wing connector lets you drive your MCPWing organization from Claude via the Model Context Protocol. The Service also includes the MCPWing desktop application for macOS and Windows, which runs locally on your device.
3. Accounts & eligibility
You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and authorized to act on behalf of any organization you represent. Access to organization data is scoped to your membership and role within that organization.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, and consistent with Anthropic's Usage Policies, you may not:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any law.
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with safety guardrails, rate limits, or security controls of the Service or of any connected AI model.
- Use the Service to violate the rights of others, including privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other organizations' data, systems, or accounts.
- Generate or distribute content that is harmful, abusive, or otherwise prohibited by Anthropic's Usage Policies when using the Wing connector with Claude.
5. API keys & security responsibilities
You are responsible for safeguarding API keys, OAuth credentials, and other secrets issued to you or your organization. Keep them confidential, rotate and revoke them when appropriate, and notify us promptly of any suspected compromise. API keys are stored hashed and are scoped to your organization; you are responsible for all activity performed using your credentials. If you configure your own provider API keys (for example, Anthropic or OpenAI), your use of those providers is also governed by their respective terms, and you are responsible for any usage charges they bill you.
6. Desktop application & local actions
The MCPWing desktop application runs on your own device and can, with your permission, take actions on it. By using the desktop app you acknowledge and agree that:
- The app can read and modify files, and execute commands, only in the folders and files you explicitly authorize and for the actions you approve.
- You are solely responsible for the access you grant and the actions you approve, and for reviewing AI-suggested edits and commands before allowing them to run.
- AI-generated output and automated agent actions may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unintended. You are responsible for backing up your work and for any consequences of actions you permit the app to take.
- You are responsible for the security of the device on which the app runs and for keeping the app reasonably up to date.
7. Intellectual property
MCPWing and its underlying software, branding, and documentation are owned by MCPWing and its licensors. You retain ownership of the content and data you submit to the Service. You grant MCPWing the limited rights necessary to host, process, and operate the Service on your behalf, including transmitting your requests and results to the third-party processors described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated output may be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MCPWing will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure. On deletion of a project or organization, associated content is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
